Vertical Runway

A tailored show

A dancer in billowing yellow fabric hangs on a building façade above a red carpet

The Vertical Runway reinvents architecture by bringing together dance, theatre, fashion and public space.

Inspired by the energy of cities, fashion and film festivals, and the art of live performance, Luah Marques presents a show where the façade becomes the stage for a parade, with models, artists and amateurs moving vertically: a bold, joyful and sublime spectacle.

Built to turn reality upside down and give the audience an immersive experience, with quirky, funny and captivating characters, the Vertical Runway plays with the codes of fashion, celebrates diversity, creates new narratives and deepens the dialogue between dance, architecture and performance.

Les Oiseaux Perchés, in creation

Watch the film: ALTO, Les Oiseaux Perchés

ALTO brings together vertical dance, contemporary dance, hip hop and live music. Created by Les Oiseaux Perchés with choreographic artists Julien Rossin and Luah Marques and musician Boris Vassallucci, the piece explores the meeting of body and architecture, through dance on the ground and in the air, and through music. Suspended in space, the performers redraw façades and reveal new poetic and sensitive dimensions of the place.

Où l’On Danse

Dance workshop and evening with a DJ set

An experience around movement, sound and the culture of the dance floor: a free dance lab for all levels, followed by a DJ set to try the new moves from your repertoire.

Mixing techniques and concepts, Luah Marques leads a workshop of about 45 minutes, full of games and tools for dancers, even the least experienced. No codes of a single technique: the invitation is made, so the moon party goes on. Then the dance floor is ready for the live DJ sets.

The Où l’On Danse workshops orchestrated by Luah Marques have transformed my life. They released a creativity in my body that was buried very deep. A puissante transformation. Words are not enough to express the gratitude I feel.
